About the Journal

ASTRAtech International Conference (AIC), an interdisciplinary forum organized by Astra Polytechnic, returns in 2025 for its third instalment. This year, AIC would carry the theme "Accelerating Global Sustainability Transformation through Digital Innovation: Bridging Nations Through Technology”. The Seminar is scheduled for October 29th, 2025, in a hybrid format, with an offline conference venue in Jakarta, Indonesia. The conference also reflects Astra International’s emphasis on the importance of sustainability and innovation as dual engines of transformation, as part of facing the challenges of a dynamic global environment.

Astra International also recognizes that environmentally conscious operations and technologically adaptive business models must be used as a foundation to deliver benefits to the nation.  Integrating sustainable practices with digital innovation to create long-term value was implemented as the company’s strategic direction in transitioning from green transformation to digital transformation, aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 12: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns. Promoting resource management, waste reduction, and adopting sustainable practices across industries. Attempts to reduce carbon footprints, increase resource efficiency, and implement eco-friendly solutions across the value chain were forms of efforts encompassed in green transformation. Accelerating sustainability goals through data-driven decision-making, artificial intelligence, automation, smart manufacturing, and customer-centric digital platforms was enabled through digital transformation.

This conference aims to bring together professionals, industries, experts, academics, and other stakeholders in the global community to exchange research insights and foster interdisciplinary academic collaboration, mainly to synergize environmental responsibility with technological progress. The key focus of AIC 2025 included integration of lean principles with digital technologies and automation, applying lean practices in construction to enhance project efficiency, implementing lean approaches to support sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), and leveraging technological innovation to minimize waste across processes and systems. Through this opportunity, we seek to promote synergy among the global community to achieve sustainable growth and maintain a competitive advantage in the digital era, while accelerating the journey toward a greener, smarter, and more inclusive future.
